PACK EXPO facilities & infrastructure directory:

The best and only way to reach these buyers

We spoke to actual PACK EXPO attendees about this directory, and all agreed, the need for this directory is long overdue:

"I would be much more interested in this than an equipment directory. These types of services and products are much harder to qualify than equipment. I ended up using local flooring guys when I couldn't find a food-grade floor company, and that was a mistake. There are always building projects in my plant that we are working on. There are six active building projects that I need to find suppliers or contractors for right now. Building services is way bigger than most people think. The building is the backbone, the main thing, bigger than the equipment."

-- President of a growing company in the high-pressure processing space, one plant.

"This would be useful. I'd like a description of what each company does, what kinds of products or services they provide."

-- VP of Engineering at a company that makes salad dressings and dips

"I am personally really interested in things other than just the big packaging players. I like facilities & infrastructure suppliers at your show, I spend at least a day trying to go these guys. I am always looking at how are services being provided to manufacturers differently. If I had a directory, it would help me know who to focus on. If I were a supplier and I were paying to be at PACK EXPO, I would want to be able to stand out and want to be seen, and you are not going to stand out by the size or location of your booth or by your name. I think this directry is a really novel idea."

--Former VP of Engineering at Kraft foods, currently food & beverage consultant.

"A directory like this would be useful because if you are looking for these types of companies, they are all dispersed across the floor because the focus is on the OEMs."

--Senior manufacturing VP at a growing company with 13 plants.

"This is a good idea. While we do rely on our construction contractors for finding these kinds of vendors, the downside is we only get to see the suppliers they work with, versus getting exposed to what’s on the market. A directory like this would definitely be interesting for me to look at, to see for example who’s making doors these days. That would be hugely helpful. Also, the design/build firms really need to be in this directory so that it’s easier to find them at PACK EXPO. The same with system integrators. We use system integrators very much, and we have gotten to the point where have burned out on some we’ve used, and we are looking for new system integrators to use on projects. I'd love to be able to have a resource, a place to go to find somebody new to work with."
